Why does the world need a pirate party?

There is a boom in small, ad-hoc parties popping up on issues where citizens don’t feel heard by the established political parties elected to govern.

Which role, if any, should be the main focus of the Pirate Party movement in order to be relevant, necessary and true agents for social change?

We have seen Pirate Parties have most Sucess with making Corruption Transparent.
One of our base laws is we do not take Money from the Lobby or big Corps Donations.
