[Report by Nicolas Petitdemange] Thanks for documents. It’s very late to make a serious study of the documents.
After some calculation, account for 2019 is clear for me, file is ok with bank statement.

Now some questions :
First, we have a debt for the IT infrastructure, but no document is available to validate that debt.
The sum is larger than the balance of the account of the Pirate International Party. If this problem is not resolved in the short term, the life of the Pirate Party could be engaged.

second, we have a line indicating a sum of a Belgian Paypal account, possible to have information on the subject?

Finally, I am a little concerned about the members who will have the right to vote tomorrow.
In 2019, only France and Switzerland paid their fee. If we take into account December 2018, we can add Catalans, Czechs and Slovenians. You can add German if you count all 2018 fee …

Can you have some information about that ?

According to the statutes, Invoices are sent the following year, so 2018 fees are due in 2019, 2019 fees are due in 2020.

Yes, there are membership fee invoices for each party. These should have been sent by a board member to your party. Your PPI board reps. can confirm. I also paste the PPNO invoice here as an image. Please consult by email for the pdf.

I do not want to pose a problem but after a reading of the statutes, with my very bad level of English, I have the impression that paying the membership fee is not an obligation to participate and vote …

In regards to the question about the bill for the IT supplier, indeed there has been no bill made, nor contract that the board approved. There may have been an agreement with the prior chair, but it appears that the IT supplier is not making a demand for payment. The board is under the assumption based on oral discussions that the IT supplier is providing the services as a donation. As the treasurer noted in his report: “some costs remained opened, per example IT”. Hence, your are right to note that IT supplier bill should be confirmed.

Second, regarding the Belgian Paypal account, I will upload to this report a copy of the most recent invoice now.

Third, in regards to the right to vote. Indeed, we have a recurring issue that the majority of members have not paid fees. The parties should pay or indicate that they cannot pay and require a discount or waiver.

The answer is clear. I will not go into the IT debate (it is not my mission), but I think it is important to correct this problem very quickly. Can not this be solved during this general assembly, allowing the new board to begin work without this sword of damocles (I don’t know if this expression exists in English) ?
